BBVSH announces a second Criticalist

“To our referring partner veterinarians, my commitment is to work as a team to provide the best care for our patients during and after an emergency or critical care visit.”
Dr. Meghan Harmon

How can a Criticalist help our clients?

Board-certified Criticalists

BBVSH’s critical care department is staffed by board-certified criticalists specially trained in handling life and death situations. Our criticalists oversee care and protocols for ICU and hospitalized patients.

Specialized Critical Care Equipment and Monitoring

In-house ventilator, high flow oxygen, oxygen cages, arterial blood pressure monitoring, and A-FAST/T-FAST ultrasounds can make a difference when your patients’s life is on the line.

What kinds of cases can I send to critical care?

  • Respiratory Emergencies
  • Cardiac Emergencies
  • Trauma
  • Kidney Failure
  • Poisonings
  • IMHA/ITP
  • Bleeding requiring blood transfusions
Is Critical Care and Emergency services available for my clients around the 24-7-365?
Yes.  BBVSH is proud to offer around the clock care for your clients and patients when they need it most.
