Emergency Veterinarian

Dr. Danielle Arnott

BVetSci (Hons), BVM&S, DVM

My Commitment To You

To our referring partner veterinarians, my commitment is to be an accessible first point of contact between your clinic and our specialists, to guide you in our hospital procedures and next steps, so together we can create a seamless experience for our mutual clients. For the cases remaining under my care during their stay, I aim to involve you in our long-term medical plan and set you up to continue your valued long-term relationship with your patients and clients.
To pet owners, my commitment is to treat every one of your beloved four-legged family members with the care and respect they deserve; and to take the time to fully explain all the medical options available to you, so you can make informed decisions and move forward feeling confident that the choices made are the best for you, your pet and your family.
-Dr. Danielle Arnott

Dr. Danielle Arnott is an emergency veterinarian, and forms part of the team who will be initially involved in triaging your pet into hospital, managing cases alongside the specialists, and acting as primary clinician on cases that stay under the care of our ER service.

Dr. Arnott graduated from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, Edinburgh, Scotland in 2017, and soon after moved to BC where she worked in mixed animal practice initially.  Now focussing mostly on ER work, Dr. Arnott enjoys the challenges and variety that emergency medicine brings, and the opportunity for ongoing learning from the extensive knowledge of the specialists and other veterinarians at BBVSH.

When not taking care of her patients, Dr. Arnott spends time exploring the beautiful mountains of B.C.  She can be found backcountry skiing, backpacking, mountaineering, rock-climbing and biking in her downtime.  She also has a keen interest in yoga, gardening, crafting and music.

Dr. Arnott is grateful for the opportunity to be involved in your pets medical care in a time of need, and is always ready to provide the high standard of care expected from BBVSH alongside the rest of the team.
