To our referring partner veterinarians, my commitment is to provide collaborative care, timely and thorough communication, and a team-based approach that supports continuity of care for our shared patients.
To pet owners, my commitment is to meet you where you are at with empathy and clear communication, so that together we can make a stressful situation a little easier while determining the best path forward for your pet.
Dr. Danielle Alleman is an emergency veterinarian who values practical, compassionate care during stressful and unexpected moments. She began her veterinary career in general practice before transitioning to emergency medicine, giving her an appreciation for both the immediate needs of a patient in crisis and the longer-term perspective of ongoing care.
She is drawn to emergency medicine because of the opportunity to quickly assess what matters most, address the immediate problem, and help families understand what comes next. She enjoys the fast-moving, collaborative nature of emergency care and places particular value on communication, teamwork, mentorship, and the human side of veterinary medicine.
Originally from New England, Danielle has called Bellingham home since 2018 and loves the access to both the mountains and the ocean. She lives with her husband and their two cats, Stuart and Switchback. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, biking, backcountry skiing, knitting, and sewing.
