Petapalooza in Yaletown a success

A big thank you to all the pet loving people who stopped by our tent and said hello.  This was the second year that BBVSH  attended this very popular downtown festival in Yaletown.  The streets are closed to traffic, and pets of all types are out walking the street celebrating all things pet with their owners!  Big dogs and small, reptiles, and even a few cats were enjoying this free and fun festival.  Boundary Bay Veterinary Specialty Hospital was there to help spread the word about the options and availability of a board certified veterinary option, should their pet ever be in need.  Knowing what options are available for your pet is something BBVSH takes pride in doing.

By our side, was our partner Animal Emergency Clinic of the Fraser Valley.  Letting pet owners know where to go for 24 hour emergency care in the Fraser valley.  Importantly, we were also informing pet owners of the need for blood donations from pets to help save the lives of other pets.  Did you know that Animal Emergency Clinic of the Fraser Valley has a Blood donor program?

People were also able to enter to win a great gift basket for their dog or cat! We had bandannas, leashes and plenty of reading material for those who wanted to learn more about us.

Be sure to check out our Facebook page for great photos of all the pets we saw.
