We would like to thank the many referring veterinarians who attended the BBVSH Continuing Education Seminar last week. The seminar was held at the Kwantlen Campus in Surrey which has a lovely large conference room for such an event.
We were pleased to see veterinarians from throughout the lower mainland including Maple Ridge, Fort Langley, Mission, Vancouver, Richmond, White Rock, South Surrey and even the North Shore!
Our veterinary specialists enjoy the opportunity to share their knowledge and to meet with veterinarians that refer difficult cases to Boundary Bay Veterinary Specialty Hospital.
This seminar focused on Oncological Emergencies with Dr. Sarah Charney and Dr. Alexandra Bratton as well as Canine Seizure Management in Dogs with Dr. Peter Gordon.
Our specialists had a great amount of information to share and look forward to the next seminar!
A very special thank you goes out to our Elanco representative Brynne Trites for attending the seminar and for the sponsorship! This sponsorship allowed our guests to enjoy a fabulous variety of foods prepared by the Grass Roots Café at Kwantlen. Our guests enjoyed foods such as pasta, quinoa and Greek salads as well as sweet and sour meatballs, chicken kabobs, samosas and delicious veggie pakoras.
The food was quite plentiful but our leftovers did not go to waste! After the seminar was done, we drove back to the clinic and shared with the overnight staff. BBVSH’s animal hospital in Langley is fully staffed 24/7. When we walked through the clinic doors with the remaining food from the seminar, we had some very delighted doctors and staff!
