Western Veterinary Conference

Continuing Education is a valuable and important tool in the growth and development of the doctors and staff at both Boundary Bay Veterinary Specialty Hospital . This year two of our staff members attended the Western Veterinary Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. For 87 years, the WVC Annual Conference has been among the most highly anticipated events in the veterinary community!  More than a conference, it has become an industry institution – a place where the best and brightest congregate for five days every year. It’s where the latest breakthroughs are announced, the most innovative techniques are shared, and lasting connections are made.  This conference is geared specifically for veterinarians and veterinary staff and covers every imaginable topic relating to veterinary clinics and animal care. This was a wonderful experience filled with workshops, lunch and learns, special presentations and hands on labs. There was definitely something for everyone at this conference!  It was an exciting yet exhausting experience for both Leslie and Heather who are both happy to be back at work and eager to share what they have learned.
