My commitment is to create and maintain open lines of communication that will allow us to collectively provide high quality care for our mutual patients from the time of referral, to discharge, and ongoing care at home.
My commitment is to hear your concerns and create individualized treatment plans that work best for you and your pet. I will strive to be open and transparent to ensure that we are always on the same page, as well as provide you with all necessary resources to support you while your beloved family member is in our care.
Dr. Stober was born in South Africa and grew up on a hobby farm in Zimbabwe. Her family immigrated to Canada in 2000, which provided her with the opportunity to pursue a career in veterinary medicine and continue to share her passion for animals with those around her.
While completing her Bachelor of Science in animal biology at the University of Guelph, she was also an active member of the women’s varsity rugby team. She graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College and promptly moved to British Columbia to start her career in small animal general practice and explore the west coast. She always had an interest in emergency medicine and decided to transition into specialty practice by taking on a position as an emergency and critical care intern at BBVSH.
When not at work, Dr. Stober spends as much time as she can travelling, hiking and camping with her fiancé, or cuddling up with her two cats, Elfin and Echo.
