BIO

Jennifer grew up in Kamloops BC with a love of science and animals. After finishing her undergraduate education at the University of Victoria on Vancouver Island, she attended the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Medicine in Edinburgh, Scotland, where she got the opportunity to travel and work all over the UK throughout her schooling. Returning home to Canada, Jennifer practiced as an ER veterinarian in Vancouver for several years before returning to her true love, cardiology. After several additional internships both in Canada and the US, Jennifer is ecstatic to be able to complete her cardiology residency here at BBVSH and return home to beautiful British Columbia.

Outside of work and study, Jennifer can be found hiking with her 2 dogs, Odie and Bueller, or otherwise enjoying the outdoors on her bike or kayak.
