BIO

Dr. Kathryn Ash, originally from Newfoundland, earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Melbourne. After completing her studies, she relocated to British Columbia, where she began her veterinary career in general practice. During this time, her enthusiasm for medicine, diverse experiences and challenges inspired her to explore emergency medicine and locum work.

Kathryn is passionate about providing care to her patients and continually enhancing her knowledge by collaborating with the hospital’s team of specialists. Her commitment to learning and love for animals drives her dedication to veterinary medicine.

Outside of work, she loves to enjoy beautiful British Columbia and spends her free time in the mountains, biking or skiing, sailing or being near the ocean, and being in the company of her very special rescue dog.
