Dr. Sara Huebner is a veterinary small animal internist at Boundary Bay Veterinary Specialty Hospital in Surrey, BC.
Dr. Huebner grew up in Benicia, California and attended veterinary school at University of California-Davis. She completed a small animal rotating internship at Tufts University prior to completing her small animal internal medicine residency at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Dr. Huebner loves all aspects of internal medicine but has special interests in immune-mediated diseases, infectious diseases and GI disease. Her favorite part of her job is getting to see the special bond between pets and their families and feels lucky to get to play a role in making that bond last as long as possible.
Dr. Huebner, her husband and her two dogs are thrilled to be in BC and the Vancouver area. When not working, she loves to spend her time outdoors and especially loves trail running, backpacking, downhill and cross country skiing.
