BIO

Dr. Tim Donihee was born in Yellowknife and has since lived in 6 cities across Western Canada in his journey to becoming a veterinarian. He wanted to be a veterinarian from a young age as his dogs growing up were his best friends, and he loved the idea of helping all the animals he could. While completing his undergraduate degree he spent his summers working at an emergency veterinary hospital in Calgary and fell in love with the pace and challenge that came with this field. He graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon in 2018. Following this, he pursued an internship at a veterinary hospital in Pittsburgh to gain additional experience in the field of emergency and critical care. Since completion of this training program, he has been living in the lower mainland and providing emergency care to companion animals.

In addition to his love for animals, Tim is passionate about travel, the outdoors and electronic music. He has more hobbies than time and can frequently be found leaving town to explore the mountains. When not out exploring, Tim enjoys spending time with his partner and three legged-cat, Toast. He hopes to add a few dogs to his menagerie soon, so long as the cat tolerates it.
