Dr. Greta VanDeventer grew up in Vermont, USA, and is excited to be settling down in the Pacific Northwest after traveling widely across Canada and the USA for school and training. Her research interests focus primarily on working dogs and orthopedics, including describing a novel, minimally-invasive ultrasound technique to diagnose hip luxations in dogs. Dr. VanDeventer enjoys all aspects of surgery, but has special interest in emergency, orthopedic, and trauma surgery cases. Outside of work, she can be found exploring the outdoors including running, hiking, mountain biking, and skiing with her 3 herding-breed dogs.
