BIO

Dr. Tiffany Jagodich is a veterinary criticalist – a specialist in emergency and critical care medicine. Dr. Jagodich has an interest in respiratory medicine, and has completed a graduate degree investigating a novel oxygen support modality for use in dogs. Her research was centered on high-flow nasal cannula oxygen therapy in respiratory failure and post-anesthesia brachycephalic dog recoveries. She is dedicated to creating an intensive care unit that focuses on critical care for severely ill patients and that fosters a team-oriented, collaborative approach to medicine. She is responsible for overseeing care and stability of all patients in the ICU, and also accepts referrals for critically ill and injured patients. Dr. Jagodich's clinical interests include: mechanical ventilation, high flow oxygen therapy, respiratory disease, acute kidney injury, trauma, and many other aspects of critical care medicine.

Dr. Jagodich joined the Boundary Bay Veterinary Specialty Hospital family in October 2018, moving to BC from Guelph, Ontario. She thoroughly enjoys hiking, backcountry camping, climbing, yoga, health and wellness, and hopes to place an emphasis on employee well-being while building her service. She moved to BC with her two perfect cats, Seraphina & Sapphire. One of which is often a trouble maker.

Dr. Jagodich is committed to ensuring that critical care standards are maintained in the care of all Boundary Bay Veterinary Specialty Hospital patients. This may included assistance in stabilization of patients prior to transport to our facility, as well while patients are hospitalized in our ICU. Dr. Jagodich is highly motivated to maintain open lines of communications between the entire care team, notably, our patients’ family veterinarians.
