To referring veterinarians, my commitment is to honor the trust you have given us in referring your patients to us, communicate with you in the way I would with a colleague working in the same practice, and support your patients' ongoing relationship with you.
To pet owners, my commitment is to strive to make your pet's visit or stay with us as comfortable as
possible, treat them as if they were my own, and keep you well informed along the way. I will assist you with choosing the most appropriate diagnostics and treatment plan for the situation at hand.
Dr. Hanna Loeffler, emergency veterinarian, identifies as a Dutch-Kiwi-American, being US born but having grown up in the Netherlands, then lived in New Zealand for 15 years where she completed her veterinary degree and worked in private practice for a number of years, creating a blended accent. She loves to travel and has enjoyed being able to use her veterinary skills in a number of countries, including volunteer work in Asia and the Pacific. In 2016, she moved to Oregon where she worked in a hybrid GP/ER hospital, and became hooked on emergency medicine. She is very excited to have joined the Emergency and Critical Care team at BBVSH.
In her free time, she enjoys mountain biking with her partner, hiking, mushroom foraging, sampling local brews, baking bread and taking trips in their E-camper.
She has recently adopted a very lovable young dog called Archer, who is happiest running along on mountain bike rides and snuggling on the couch.
